Set of 5 Platonic solids in amethyst: 1 tetrahedron, 1 hexahedron (cube), 1 octahedron, 1dodecahedron and 1 icosahedron.
1) The tetrahedron is a regular polyhedron composed of 4 faces.
6 edges and 4 vertices. This pentagram is the "dual" of itself from the pyramid family. It is associated with the symbol of FIRE and it amplifies the incoming and outgoing energies from sky to earth.
2) The cube or hexahedron is a regular polyhedron composed of 6 faces.
Plato associated the hexahedron (cube) with EARTH.
3) The octahedron is a regular polyhedron composed of 8 faces, 12 edges, and 6 vertices.
This pentagram is the "dual" of the cube. It is the symbol of AIR and it amplifies energies at different cardinal points (north, south, east, west, nadir, and zenith). All these points converge towards the center of the octahedron.
4) The dodecahedron is a regular polyhedron composed of 12 faces, 30 edges, and 20 vertices.
