About money: maintenance tips

Take care of your silver jewelry

Silver is a natural precious metal. It oxidizes naturally upon contact with air, which is why it tends to turn black or green.

Nothing could be easier than restoring its shine.

There are many methods or products sold commercially, but the most well-known and economical method is simply a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Instructions for use:

  1. Gently rub your jewelry with a little toothpaste.
  2. Rinse with water
  3. Wipe with a cloth or paper

Your jewelry has regained all its original shine and looks brand new!

Another tip is to use clay: you often find it in cleaning products for ceramic hobs or griddles.

The method is the same: rub gently, rinse with water and dry.

One last piece of advice: store your silver jewelry in a box or plastic bag, away from air and light.
