Rough malachite is a true natural spectacle. When cut or viewed on the surface, it reveals concentric green bands—from emerald green to almost black—layered on top of each other, formed by millennia of copper deposits. In its rough, unpolished state, malachite also exhibits a raw, earthy texture that has a lot of character.
