The salt light gives a warm and pleasant orange-yellow light and the beautiful pattern of square formations in the basket stands out towards the outside of the lamp.

This salt is found in the "salt mountains" of Pakistan, in the southwestern extension of the Himalayas. This is why it is called "Himalayan Salt," but it is not actually mined in the Himalayan massif.
