Shungite is the oldest known coal, of planktonic origin. Unique in its composition, structure, and properties. It is a natural mineralization with a homogeneous distribution of crystalline silicate particles in a carbon matrix. It is found in only one place in the world: near Lake Onega Shunga in Russia, a lake of great purity.
The stone is a powerful "black hole". Shungite develops an electromagnetic radiation shield of measurable high vibrational frequency.
