Very beautiful bracelet made of 9-10mm cherry blossom agate balls.
Patterns and colors may vary from one bracelet to another.

Cherry blossom agate was discovered very recently in Madagascar. It is sometimes called "sakura agate". It is less known than Botswana agate, crazy lace agate, fire agate or moss agate. However, it remains much rarer.

It is a wonder of nature that can have different colors, such as pink, salmon, orange, white, gray or brown. Several of these shades mix on the cherry blossom agate and form various patterns.

In most cases, cherry blossom agate has a very light pink with white inclusions due to the presence of minerals. Its inclusions, in an almost transparent stone, are often shaped like petals. Its appearance is both opaque and milky.

Similar patterns are found on other stones, such as Kambaba Jasper or Orbicular Jasper. Clearly, it is these incredible inclusions that make the stone unique.

For the record, the name agate comes from the Akhates River (nowadays the Dirillo) which is located in southern Italy and Sicily. Many varieties of agates were discovered in this river. The Greek philosopher Theophrastus (371 BC / 288 BC) then named these stones "agates".

The agate group has a large number of varieties with various colors, with all kinds of patterns on them. Some of these agates are real works of art that nature offers us. Cherry blossom agate is one of the most magnificent agates.

This mineral belongs to different groups and categories and is classified among chalcedonies, silicates and quartz. It is mainly composed of silicon dioxide. Agates also contain devitrified volcanic ash, rainwater or spring water, oxides of iron minerals, manganese, etc. It is these oxides that determine the hues and patterns of these agates.

Cherry blossom agate has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale. For comparison, diamond has the highest hardness, which is 10 on the same scale. It is therefore perfect for a jeweler.

The main deposits are in Madagascar.

In lithotherapy, cherry blossom agate symbolizes emotional letting go, calm and serenity. It is a stone that soothes and provides inner peace. Often an orange-pink stone, it evokes gentleness and tenderness. Its positive energies ward off negative emotions such as stress, anxiety and anguish. It diffuses harmony and serenity. Thus, it provides joy and enthusiasm.

This stone encourages growth, fulfillment and prosperity. It allows you to move forward in life and achieve your goals. It facilitates introspection. It is an excellent stone for self-expression, it encourages you to assert your character, to express what the wearer has in their heart. It encourages them to reveal themselves and accept themselves as they are.

Cherry blossom agate helps to heal certain emotional wounds. It creates a connection with one's inner self and can thus find the reason for the discomfort. It is highly recommended for people who have suffered trauma in their lives or who experience post-traumatic stress disorder.

Through the gentleness it gives off, this stone promotes openness to others. It releases compassion and empathy. Very attentive, it gives the will to help one's neighbor and to show a lot of understanding, without judgment.
