Indian Grey Moonstone Bracelet A (baroque beads)

Beautiful Indian grey moonstone bracelet, made of polished baroque stones with elegant shades of light grey, smoky grey, silver, and beige-grey.

More subdued than white moonstone, this variety captivates with its soft and mysterious tones, sometimes accompanied by subtle luminous effects. The natural variations and irregular shapes of the stones make each bracelet unique.

This grade A Indian grey moonstone bracelet is made of polished natural stones of baroque shape.

Moonstone belongs to the large family of feldspars. It is particularly appreciated for its delicate nuances and, in some specimens, for its characteristic optical phenomenon called adularescence.

Grey moonstone presents a color palette ranging from very light grey to smoky grey, sometimes with silvery, beige-grey or slightly brownish nuances.

Some stones may be slightly translucent while others have a milkier or opaque appearance. Inclusions and tonal differences may also be visible.

The baroque beads have naturally irregular shapes which give the bracelet an authentic and mineral appearance.

With a length of approximately 17 to 18 cm, this elastic bracelet is suitable for wrists measuring approximately 16 to 18 cm. Its light weight of approximately 6 g allows it to be worn comfortably daily.

Shapes, inclusions, transparencies, patterns, and shades may vary from one stone to another and from one bracelet to another. Each item is unique.

Virtues of Grey Moonstone in lithotherapy

In lithotherapy, grey moonstone is traditionally associated with intuition, soothing, and emotional balance.

It is said to be valued for symbolically accompanying periods of change and helping to gain more perspective on emotions.

Grey moonstone is also associated with introspection and letting go. Its darker tones give it a particularly interesting symbolism for people seeking calm and centering.

Like other moonstones, it is traditionally linked to sensitivity, cycles, and new beginnings.

It is primarily associated with the third eye chakra and the crown chakra, traditionally linked to intuition, perception, and consciousness.

The properties attributed to stones come from lithotherapy traditions and beliefs. They do not replace a diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

What is Grey Moonstone?

Moonstone belongs to the feldspar family, an extremely important and widespread mineral group.

Grey moonstone is distinguished primarily by its darker tones than those of white or cream varieties.

Its color can present different shades of grey, silver, beige, or very light brown, with varying degrees of transparency.

Some specimens may also exhibit a subtle luminous phenomenon characteristic of moonstone.

What is adularescence?

Adularescence is the optical phenomenon traditionally associated with moonstone.

The internal structure of feldspar interacts with light and can create the impression that a luminous veil floats beneath the surface of the stone.

This effect can be white, silver, or sometimes slightly bluish.

Its intensity varies considerably depending on the stones. On a baroque bead bracelet, some stones may exhibit a more pronounced luminous effect than others.

Grey Moonstone and Labradorite: what's the difference?

Grey moonstone can sometimes be visually similar to some light or grey labradorites, but their optical effects should be distinguished.

Moonstone is traditionally sought after for its adularescence, which is generally softer and more diffuse.

Labradorite, on the other hand, is famous for its labradorescence, which can produce more distinct flashes of blue, green, yellow, or gold.

Nevertheless, these stones both belong to the large family of feldspars.

Grey Moonstone and White Moonstone

The most obvious difference between these two varieties is their color.

White moonstone primarily presents white, cream, or translucent nuances.

Grey moonstone offers a darker palette ranging from light grey to smoky grey, sometimes accompanied by silvery or beige-grey nuances.

They thus offer two different styles: luminous and delicate for white, more sober and mysterious for grey.

A stone with naturally variable colors

The color of grey moonstone is not necessarily uniform.

Within the same bracelet, some stones may be light grey or silvery, while others will be more smoky grey, beige-grey, or slightly brown.

Inclusions, small opaque areas, and variations in transparency may also be present.

These natural characteristics do not necessarily constitute defects and contribute to the identity of each bracelet.

Naturally unique baroque beads

Baroque beads have irregular shapes, unlike perfectly calibrated round beads.

Each stone thus has its own shape, color, and degree of transparency.

This finish gives the bracelet a more natural look and highlights the diversity of the stones.

Each bracelet therefore has its own combination of shapes and shades and may differ slightly from the photographs presented.

Care tips

Moonstone has moderate hardness and requires some precautions.

Avoid significant shocks, strong temperature variations, chemicals, perfumes, and household products.

For routine cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth, then gently dry the stones.

Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaning and preferably remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, or sports activities.

Fall for the energy of moonstone daily. Our selection of moonstone bracelets awaits you.
