Peach aventurine, also called salmon aventurine , is a variety of aventurine, a semi-precious stone in the quartz family. It is valued both for its aesthetic properties and for its purported benefits in crystal healing.


✧ Characteristics of peach aventurine:

Colour : Tones ranging from pale pink to peach, light orange or salmon. It may sometimes display shimmering reflections due to the presence of mica or other mineral inclusions.

Composition : Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), like all quartz, with inclusions of hematite, goethite or mica which give it its characteristic color.

Hardness : 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale.

Origin : It is found notably in India, Brazil, Russia, and sometimes in France.
