Peach aventurine, also called salmon aventurine , is a variety of aventurine, a semi-precious stone from the quartz family. It is appreciated as much for its aesthetic properties as for its virtues in lithotherapy.


✧ Characteristics of peach aventurine:

  • Color : Shades ranging from pale pink to peach, light orange, or salmon. It can sometimes have shimmering reflections due to the presence of mica or other mineral inclusions.

  • Composition : Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), like all quartz, with inclusions of hematite, goethite or mica which give its characteristic color.

  • Hardness : 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale.

  • Origin : It is found in particular in India, Brazil, Russia, and sometimes in France.
