Chiastolite is a variety of andalusite containing dark inclusions of
carbon absorbed during crystal growth. These inclusions are arranged
regularly and form a cross.
The main deposits of these minerals are located in Chile, Russia.
The name comes from the Greek Kiastos which means 'marked with a cross'.
Chiastolite would help dispel residual fears linked to old traumas.
