Lemon chrysoprase , also sometimes called lemon chrysoprase or lemon chrysoprase , is a variety of semi-precious stone belonging to the chalcedony family, just like classic chrysoprase.

Family : Microcrystalline quartz (chalcedony subgroup)

Color : Bright yellow to yellow-green, reminiscent of the color of lemon (hence its name)

Specific shade : Unlike classic chrysoprase, which is green to apple-green (due to the presence of nickel), lemon chrysoprase has a paler, lemony shade , sometimes confused with serpentine or other yellow stones.

It is found mainly in Australia , but also in Madagascar , Brazil , Tanzania , and sometimes in South Africa .
