Lepidolite is a mineral belonging to the mica group, more precisely a lithium- rich mica. It is a complex silicate that also often contains potassium, aluminum, and sometimes rubidium or cesium. It usually occurs as shiny sheets or scaly masses , with a color that ranges from pale pink to purple , including silvery gray .

⚒️ Origin and training

Lepidolite forms mainly in granitic pegmatites , coarse-grained igneous rocks. These pegmatites often also contain other lithium-rich minerals such as spodumene or tourmaline .
