Rainbow moonstone is the trade name for white Labradorite, actually a Peristerite, a variety of Albite that exhibits an adularescence effect (blue or colored reflections). This confusion comes from the fact that all these stones belong to the same large family of Feldspars. Chemically and visually, however, they do not have the same characteristics. That said, their properties are quite similar.

Peristerite symbolizes yin energy and represents the feminine. It develops in us the qualities of the feminine polarity such as: gentleness, sensitivity, listening, receptivity, tolerance, intuition, imagination, poetry...
