Collection: Lodolite quartz

Lodolite quartz , also called inclusion quartz , shaman quartz , or garden quartz , is a variety of clear quartz containing often spectacular natural inclusions. These inclusions can resemble miniature landscapes, seabeds, clouds, or gardens, hence some of its poetic names.

Main features

  • Mineral family : Quartz (silica, SiO₂)

  • Crystal system : Trigonal

  • Hardness : 7 on the Mohs scale

  • Color : Transparent with colored inclusions (green, red, brown, white, gray, etc.)

  • Frequently sourced from : Brazil, Madagascar, Himalayas, United States

The inclusions

Inclusions vary depending on the deposits and the formation conditions. They can be composed of:

  • Chlorite (green)

  • Hematite (red or brown)

  • Feldspar

  • Clay , limonite , etc.

These inclusions give the crystal a "landscaped" appearance, like a mineral garden enclosed in glass.

Esoteric properties (lithotherapy)

  • Spirituality & Meditation : Considered a stone of inner vision, shamanic journeying, and amplification of spiritual energies.

  • Consciousness elevation : Would help to access higher planes of consciousness or the Akashic memory.

  • Emotional healing : Helps release old emotional blockages and accelerate the healing process.

  • Protection : Some use it as a protective stone, especially in shamanic practices.

Use

  • Jewelry : Mounted as a pendant or ring, often to highlight its unique appearance.

  • Crystal therapy : Placed on the third eye or heart chakra.

  • Decoration : Highly prized for collection or for its natural aesthetic appearance.
