Rainbow Moonstone is the trade name for White Labradorite, which is actually Peristerite, a variety of Albite that has an adularescence effect (blue or colored reflections). This confusion comes from the fact that all these stones come from the same large Feldspar family. Chemically and visually, however, they do not have the same characteristics. That said, their properties are quite similar.

Peristerite symbolizes yin energy, and represents the feminine.
