Thulite was discovered at a place called Sauland in Telemark, Norway in 1820.
Named after the mythical island of Thule in the belief that the island is Norway.
Its pink color contains manganese, sometimes with grey or white.
Thulite, this pink variety of feldspar discovered in Norway, is renowned for its calming and harmonizing properties. It is said to promote compassion, tenderness, and an open heart, while helping to soothe emotions and stress. This stone is traditionally associated with emotional healing and the promotion of self-love. Worn as a pendant or bracelet, Thulite is believed to support those seeking to cultivate inner gentleness and emotional balance.
